Day 3 was basically the best day i’ve been to so far, so i will go into a little more detail:
Honestly, i thought this was going to be a comedy act before he went on. It was a single mic and nothing else. A guy in a ruffled suit takes the stage and… wham… insane vocals over huge beats. I wasn’t quite sure what this was, but i kinda really liked it. I mean, it’s definitely avant guarde, but it’s not bad… still pretty strange though. Again, much more impressive than most of the bands i’ve been seeing.

Prayer for Animals was quite alright.
Woven Bones was really good. Their lead singer was quite reminiscent of michael stipe, but their sound was quite different from anything that just popped into your head. Drone rock for sure, loads of reverb if my ears are still working properly. I will definitely check these guys out again, because, while i am normally i’m not into that kinda stuff, i was really getting into this.
I have actually been familiar with Follow That Bird! for a while now; well, ever since they got mentioned in a comment a while back. Well, I wish i had actually gone sooner. They were pretty much awesome. I usually really get into girl groups when they are good. I would check them out if i were you; i will definitely go again. Anyway, all the stuff this night was killer… sucks you missed it! haha
