Black Kids… are good…
I thought this was a page error when i first looked at it, but apparently this is the pitchfork review of the Black Kids new LP (via pitchfork). It is a picture of two puppies with the word “sorry” and the “:-/” emoticon. It is pretty weak if you ask me. If you are going to review an album… you need to at least do the work of informing the audience of what it sounds like. This, though it may be clever, is poor form. They rated it a 3.3 which is ridiculous… but all too common. Pitchfork is still very relevant, for getting records sold at least, though they are eternally annoying… but the increase of genuine kitschiness is worrying.

From our earlier conversation …
me: that’s music journalism?
me: I hope all the pitchfork kids get cancer at the same time
