12-18-07: Digital Leather played Beerland tonight. It was… interesting. This was much more punk than electro… I mean, they had a keyboard, but… well that was about the only electoish thing about it. No one really showed up; half the audience was the opening acts, but I actually enjoyed the show for the most part. The Pepperonis and Chief Death Rage were loud. I had to sit outside toward the middle of both of the sets; half disinterest, half fresh air. Beerland, on the other hand, reminded me of something out of the lower east side in NYC. It was a cool venue, regardless of who was playing. Unfortunately the beer was $2.50… Ahem, I think we can do slightly better than that Beerland; hmm, 50 cents better??? Maybe?
